Poor old Silverstone. Not even Lewis Hamilton, it seems, can spare the British Grand Prix from supremo Bernie Ecclestone hefty axe.There had been hope in some quarters that Hamilton's emergence on to the Formula One scene this year would aid Silverstone's cause.
